Pours clear dark brown with a finger of light tan head. Aroma of toffee, vanilla, caramel, light bread, light banana, some basement aromas. Taste is big, bold butterscotch burnt butter sweet, long sweet finish. Body is rich and creamy although with very rich carbonation, which kind of pulls the entire package apart.

Barely wine provning 2 olika Baronen med olika årgångar olika alkoholhalt . Denna doftar sötare och fikon dadlar samt litd godis . I munnen perfekt lågt kolsyrad med små krämiga bubblor 👍. Som lyfter smaken av lite nedtonade fikon och russin samt en svag ton av ek. Relativt torr Barely wine . Redigt jäkla välgjord och goood. Men 2015 varianten med högre alkoholhalten var snäppet fylligare .

Fles 33cl thuis. Abrikoos, caramel, rozijn, zoet, redelijk vol, licht kleffig, licht kartonsmaak. (1-2018).

BOTTLE 33 CL from omhper. Hazy red-brown, beige head with good retention. Full rich fruity caramel aroma with quite a bit of cheese, socks? Generic humor strong caramel, warming alcohol, some boozy spice. A bit flat, bit still a drinkable strong ale. Ok.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish creamy head, cloudy very red to brown color, aroma of dark bread, melange of dried fruits and just an oxidised note, sweet and sour fruty honey flavor with some metal. quite sweet but not too heavy. Nice and drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. 2015 bottle. Brown. Caramel, oxidation, dried fruits, bread, a bit of alcohol, sweet, medium-bodied.

brown colour, minimal sized beige-ish head; aroma and taste of dried plum, dates maybe apricot and raisins soaked in cognac, walnut, some chocolate and herbal liqueur notes; great barley wine!

Kicsi, gyorsan elolvadó hab, barna szín. Karamelles, aszalt gyümölcsös illatok, némi konyakos aromával. Erős, édes karamelles, aszalt szilvás, aszalt barackos ízvilág, némi konyakos aromával. Testes, enyhén kesernyés, alig szénsavas. Nagyon finom desszertsör, de egy picit túl van húzva.
