Pours clear dark brown with a finger of light tan head. Aroma of toffee, vanilla, caramel, light bread, light banana, some basement aromas. Taste is big, bold butterscotch burnt butter sweet, long sweet finish. Body is rich and creamy although with very rich carbonation, which kind of pulls the entire package apart.

brown colour, minimal sized beige-ish head; aroma and taste of dried plum, dates maybe apricot and raisins soaked in cognac, walnut, some chocolate and herbal liqueur notes; great barley wine!

Kicsi, gyorsan elolvadó hab, barna szín. Karamelles, aszalt gyümölcsös illatok, némi konyakos aromával. Erős, édes karamelles, aszalt szilvás, aszalt barackos ízvilág, némi konyakos aromával. Testes, enyhén kesernyés, alig szénsavas. Nagyon finom desszertsör, de egy picit túl van húzva.

Flaska från SB. 6 år gammal flaska. Smak och doft av torkad frukt, karamell, russin, vanilj, trä, jord med toner av vanilj och choklad. Lagom sötma, rund och len, fruktig, relativt lätt kropp, fin beska. Hade dock förväntat mig lite mer av lagringen.

Vielen Dank an Erzengel! Trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch kräftig süß malzig, karamellig, reifes Obst, Vanille und Holz. Geschmack süß malzig, kräftiger Körper, süß schokoladig, Vanille, holzig, leicht alkoholisch. Gut!

10.4% ABV, Batch Nr. 221B-1, MHD 15.09.18. Intense sticky malty nose. The beer starts very sticky with lots of sweet caramel, herbs, butterscotch. Intense creamy roasty. Moderate bitterness in the aftertaste, fresh and round. Roasted hazelnuts, caramelised almonds. Great round and intense thick. Full and rich, great!

Bottle from SB, cons 2010-09-23, Göteborg, 2007 year edition! AR: a bit like old stock, vinos, pruns, chocolate, rasins, very round and a bit oaky. The nice aroma i still there after being poured. AP: dark ruby body, creme caramell coloured froty head F: a bit to obevious strong, but very nice flavours of caramel, scottish toffee, vinos, pruns, chocolate, rasins fruity and a bit dry finish. I guess it needs a couple of more years of storing to get a rounder flavour and more appeling taste. Oily consistence.

2007 release (Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Shady dark copper color, fluffy tan head. Malty and fruity scent. Sweet and bitter spicy alcohol taste. Full mouthfeel, big bitterenss. Warming alcohol. Very nice. 8/4/8/4/16=3.9

From trade with VsXsV as part of the Euro Local Swap 33cl bottle. Pours hazy dark orange brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of heavy strong malt, vanilla, wood, caramel, some alcohol. Taste is sweet malty, tons of vanilla, some chocolate, toffee, ripe fruits, alcohol, delicious!
