Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007
Dark brown color; thin creamy head. Light aroma, chocolatey. Smooth mouthfeel, a bit lighter than expected, but with a good mix of chocolate malt, roasted malt and caramel. The final (good and balanced) is a bit dry. Good and easy to drink.

Draught. The aroma is strangely citric like most of their beers. Very dark brown colour. Small, creamy light brown head. Not very nice flavour, some plastic and cardboard. Late barley bitterness.

On tap at The Rover, Gothenburg. A black beer with a small, beige nitro-like head. It has a burnt aroma with coffee and chocolate, but it is a bit too weak. The flavor is burnt and roasted, with chocolate and some licorice. Medium to full body. A pleasant beer, but a bit too thin, but on the other hand, it’s only 4.3%ABV. (060824)

(On tap) A black and opaque beer with a warm, reddish glow and a small, beige head. Aroma of burned malt - and whisky. Fairly light body with distinct notes of peat and roasted malt. Also smoked malt rather than burned. Extremely distinct whisky notes. Slightly thin finish without much bitterness. 240806

Rerate, 330 ml bottle, at Olympen, Oslo. ABV 4.3%. Very dark brown to ruby colour, nearly black. Moderate creamy beige head. Moderate aroma, mild roasty coffee notes, hints of wood and ashes. Light bodied, fairly dry flavour, notes of thin coffee. Okay, but not remarkable. Original rating: On tap at The Rover, Göteborg. Black colour, creamy tan head. This oatmeal stout has a moderate but pleasant roasty aroma, notes of dark chocolate. The flavour is slightly sourish with very subdued coffee and chocolate notes.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, Feb 17) Colour is very dark brown to black, with a frothy light brown head. Nose is smoky (burning wood) with roasted notes of dark chocolate and tar. Taste is smoky, with lots of chocolate and coffee. Drier towards the finish. Very tasty and enjoyable if you like the smokiness.

Smooth roasted scent and taste. A bit thin mouthfeel, medium bitterness.Very easy to drink, also very nice, but don’t get it after something rich in taste.7/4/7/3/14=3.5Rerate33 cl bottle at home on August 21, 2009BB Dec 2009, from Systembolaget in VästeråsBlack color, light brown head. Roasted malt, dry grainy, sweet, some raisins scent, also chocolate. Malty thin taste. Dry roasted aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness. This has taken a turn for the worse, also quite expensive for such a low alcohol beer.7/4/4/2/11=2.8
