Imperial Stout fermented and aged in Missouri oak Foeders. Finished on Bananas, Madagascar Vanilla Beans, Toasted Coconut, and Raw Coconut. 15% ABV. We worked hard to get the banana character to come out in this beer, it was definitely much more difficult than we anticipated. Literal tons of bananas later, trying different kinds of bananas, pushing off the release until we got it right, the result is amazing.

Waxed, capped 375 from Tavour. Pours very dark brn/blk with a slight rusty/tan head. Aromas of banana, toasted dark malt, and coconut. Super full bodied. Flavor of banana, roasted coconut, very dark toasted malt, perhaps vanilla, perhaps some oak astringency. It is not dry, but the sweet is far from obnoxious. Maybe some oak and burnt malt stand in for hop. Banana in the finish. Amazing that.

Gdamn that's a lot of nanner upfront. Typical Anchorage stout depth of tons of oak & barrel and thick adjuncts. Decadent sweetness, nose and front are def nanner. Then coconut chocolate cake, tons of it.

Bottle pours a thick dark brown black. Intense banana caramel chocolate aromas and flavors. The very high ABV is covered by tons of sugary nana and chocolate. Tastes like boozy banana bread. Tasty but over the top.

12.7 oz waxed. Aroma has notes of banana bread, coffee, licorice, raisin, port, cocoa, molasses, vanilla, wood, pouch tobacco, faint coconut. Pours like motor oil with a thin dark tan head that falls into a ring somewhat quickly. Taste is extremely sweet with a light bitter edge. Very much reminiscent of boozy banana bread. Syrupy mouthfeel with somewhat soft carbonation. Good flavors, but too sweet for me to really love this. Best shared probably.
