Gushing to a glass of light-yellow foam, fluffy, with a muddy yellow bottom. Spicy, but also hoppy nose, pale malts, strangely a hint as from wheat. Fresh garden herbs. Bitter-spicy flavour, pale malts, again a wheat-like acidity, enhanced by the high carbonation. Bitter citrus and YEAST!. Spritzy, long-lasting bitterness, light body. Another Be that could stand out between the Kölner Kölsch... if it weren't for the particular hopchoice. It's not bad, but it's Cologne instead of Köln.

28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Hazy yellow, lasting, small, foamy, white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of green banana, yellow apple, wort, yeast, breadcrust, melon, grain. Taste is light fruity sweet, ‘classic’ apple, pear, banana & apricot, quite yeasty & grainy though, rendering it a bit bitter & wort-like at the same time; sourish touch of wheat before finishing dry, grainy, slightly grassy hoppy, with more yeast, bread & unripe fruit. Medium to light body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Feels unfinished & too basic, unfortunately.
