Keg at Route CBC, CBC Clapham, 02/10/15. Orange coloured pour with lasting thin off white head. Aroma is caramel malts, resinous pine hops. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation and medium full bodied. Flavour is composed of slight stale grainy malts, little caramel and piney resinous hop. Not great.

Craft Clapham. Keg. Route 66 event with most of the London crew. Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, fine carbonation. Light thin creamy malts, touch of caramel. Decent piney hops turning mildly bitter. Not bad but was expecting more.

Nose is earthy hop, bread dough, orange pith, straw, a little muted in comparison to others in this style. Taste comprises bitter orange, light spice, citric kissed straw, toasted malt, faint grapeftuit shreds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with earthy hop bitterness. Average IPA fayre.

Keg at Craft Beer Co. Clapham - London, during Route CBC. Pours clear, dark gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds toasted grains, pine, light caramel. Medium sweet flavor with rich, bready malts, dry piney bitterness, maybe some rindy orange. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with notes of grainy bread, light oily pine, moderate bitterness. Pretty so so overall.

Tap at Route CBC. It pours murky amber with a medium white head. The nose is sweet, varnish, pine needles, wholemeal bread, light toffee and orange. The taste is toasty, bitter-sweet, touch of paper, alcohol, pine needles, grapefruit, malty backbone and grass. Medium body and moderate carbonation. It definitely errs towards being too sweet. A bit of a disappointment in comparison to their sour beers.
