Pours black, small, lightly tanned head. Smell is intense coffee, chocolate. Taste is full, chocolaty, lactose, coffee roasty, sweet, but rather balanced.

EBF 2018: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is lactic, chocolate, booze and malts. Taste is a sweet but not too sweet. Easy deinking and creamy. Quite large.

2 oz draft sample at the 3rd Annual Rocky Water Brew Fest. Pitch black with no head. Smooth, with a thick mouthfeel. The flavor isn’t bad until the coffee flavor kicks in.
