De Lömpe Böck is een tribute aan onze brouwer Patrick, want die is precies dat. Als de beste man iets om kan gooien of zich ergens aan kan stoten, dan doet ie dat gegarandeerd, een onhandige maar vaak hilarische eigenschap. Op een dag liep dat bijna fout af en viel hij voorover in een smeulend kampvuur, gelukkig is hij nog onder ons, zij het een beetje aangebrand. Vandaar dat deze bij Holevoort in Bakel gebrouwen doppelbock heerlijk gerookt alsmede peated is. Deze is voor jou Patrick, proost!

Bottle. Thinnish with brown caramalt. Lightly smoky with peated notes, sugary and sourish. Boiled vegetables. A bit overcarbonated. Not good, to say the least.

Dark ruby brown colour with lasting head. Aroma of sweet and smoked malts. Nice body. Lots of malts but plenty dry in the finish.

Bottle shared at yearly Fryslân tasting. Reddish to red brown color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sourish, sweetish sugary aroma, peat, smoke, bacon. Odd and not very nice to say the least.
