Can at Håndverkeren. Probably 2022 vintage. A hazy brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma has a light oxidation that feels nice, along with toffee, some dark chocolate and roasted malts, a good dash of alcohol and some raisin. Typical lager touch too. It's full bodied and a bit warming, probably best to share this one, with a fine carbonation. Sweet, not cloying, due to the alcohol level and a good bitterness. Sweet flavor with lots of toffee and dark dried fruit. Caramel, raisin, some prune and dark chocolate. Piney hops, lager yeast and a pleasant oxidation. Alcohol. Lasting finish. As already mentioned, probably best shared, but it's really nice anyway. And as the brewery is closed, this is most likely my last, and best I think, beer from Beer Flag. 241121

Tap. Unclear deep amber-ruby color with beige head. Aroma is big raisins, caramel, toffee. Taste is the same. Thicc oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Sweet and boozy, but alright.

Bit of boozyness here, high ABV for a doppelbock. There's nice maltyness, little bit of toast and fairly caramelly. Nicely bittersweet, well balanced. A tasty and fun beer.

22/IX/23 - on tap @ Borefts Beer Festival Day 1, BB: n/a (2023-650) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Clear amber beer, big creamy off-white head, unstable, adhesive, falls down quickly, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, dried fruits, lots of raisins, a bit sourish, a malty touch, more acidic. Aftertaste: malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, bitter hops, lots of dried fruits, pretty oxidized, decent!

Stark malziger, leider auch unrund süßer Beginn. Klebrig, die milde Herbe kann nicht gegensteuern. Ok. 8/8/9/7//8
