330 ml can, from Joker Vatlandsvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Unfiltered. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of yeast, hints of over-ripe fruits. Flavour of yeast, hints of over-ripe yellow plums, moderate herbal hops in the finish.

On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. It’s an almost clear, golden colored beer with a dense finger-thick white head leaving lacing. The aroma is bready and doughy, quite fruity, with some grass and pine cones. It’s medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with some sweetness and a rather low bitterness. The flavor has grassy, piney hops and generic fruityness up front, with doughy, bready malts in the back. Medium length finish. A quite dull one, too bready and sweet I think, but decent anyway. 220708

330ml bottle, L 398, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Warm golden body with a haze of wheat, remaining white head, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of spiced fruit. Wheat fruity flavours, lightly spiced. Soft spiced fruity end. Quite okay follower to our Hot Pot food. Modest malt-fruity smell, grainy. Rather restrained taste character of grain, grass, and hints of yeast. Mid-dry ending, short and distant bitterness to it. Passable, not more. (Tromsø 15.10.2021).
