Bottle, thanks Hajsman!. Golden color, cloudy. Lemon and birch twigs in the aroma and flavor. Perfumed, tarry, a soft sourness. Bitter leaf-like finish. Nice.

Small white rim over fully hazy pale yellow beer with Grünstich. Toasted cheese, crusts, spices, American kitchen odours (sorry), woodliner. Taste is softer version of the nose; spicy, bit cheesy, mineral. Light body but slick, Taste has surprisingly low profile, but pleases all the same. Quite cool! Txs to Dylan!

Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is smoked, sweet notes ( tad malty). Taste is sharp, smokey, mild bitterness, malty. OK.

Keg at Warsaw Beer Festival, 08/04/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is lemon tinged straw, light smoke, herb. Taste comprises citric pith, light bonfire, lemon rind, smoked straw, herbal notes, spice, stale bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff.

Butelka 0,5 z datą ?brak. BARWA: słomkowe , dość mocno zmętnione, wyglądem przypomina witbiera. PIANA: biała, jak na grodziskie to średnia i łatwa do opanowania, drobno pęcherzykowa, gęsta,zbita i trwała. AROMAT: zaraz po otwarciu wyczuwalna wędzonka bukowa wpadająca w nuty oscypkowe, jest obiecująco, delikatnie wyczuwalna charakterystyczna dębowa nuta. Ale po jakimś czasie jak się ogrzało coś się psuje po zamieszaniu szkła dość mocny diacetyl. SMAK: wytrawne, delikatnie kwaskowate, z drewniano-dymnym posmakiem i żywica, jest lekkie, pijalne, odpowiednie wysycenie , nie ma uczucia braku pełni i wodnistości. Ciekawa interpretacja stylu.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest 2017. 08/04/2017. A hazed golden, orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head . Aroma is sweet bready malts, light smoke, bacon frazzled. Flavour is composed of sweet bready malts, light smoke, tcp, medicinal.. Palate is sweet moderate carbonation bit creamy.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, pure white head. Light smoke in the nose, crispy pale grains, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with light dry smoke, pale read, wheat flakes, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, more smoke, light peaty notes, crispy wheat bread. Nice one. Refreshing, in its way.

500ml bottle from trade with Gebels. Many thanks Kamil! Pours a hazy pale yellow, good white head. Aroma is lightly smoky, lapsang-like. Taste is smooth, lightly sour with a pleasant smoky character, black tea, a touch of cheese. Expected a defined hoppy edge from the ’American’ prefix, but was absent. Still, a very good example of the style.

500ml bottle from EU Local Swap 1/2017, thanks Jashiu! BBE 27.03.2017. Pours hazy yellowish with a small white head. Aroma of smoky malts, peat, leather, hints of tartish citrus and lemon. Taste is fruity, smoky and slightly tartish with loads of peat, leather, hints of citrus, lemon and earthiness. Finish is crisp, fruity and heavily smoked with some peat, leather and citrus. Quite interesting and unique, surprisingly tasty.
