Session Hazy IPA
We often have our head in the clouds – and once again we came back down with an exciting idea: let’s take the low ABV of All Day IPA and bring it to a hazy! That’s just what we did with All Day Haze Hazy IPA. A substantial amount of oats and wheat lend a whimsical fogginess, while Citra, Simcoe and Amarillo hops create an explosion of aroma. A sessionable, cloudy treat that can be enjoyed in any weather, hazy or otherwise.

Pours hazy blood orange into a shaker. White pancake head with medium retention soaps as it recedes leaving trailing glops. Earthy peach fuzz and tangerine peel aromas. Medium bodied with earthy sourdough, dirty laundry and overripe apricots upfront turning to bitter apple in the lasting finish. Nope.

Pours hazy golden brown with a frothy white head. Aroma of light citrus. Taste has fairly light citrus notes, pleasant pine, nondescript hazy elements. Palate has lemon, papaya, other tropical fruit notes. Surprisingly good. Crushable.

12 ounce can from Woodman’s Appleton, 3/20/22. Hazy amber, large frothy beige head, good retention. Aroma of leafy hops, tangerine. Taste is melon, dank, grapefruit, lime. Juicy, mild bitterness. Well balanced. Solid.

Orange, lime, biscuit malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet orange, lime, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Okay body.

2 month old can A: Actually poured fairly clear pale to medium gold with a short lasting white head. S: Bright fruity aroma with mostly sweet citrus and peach over light honey or wafer cookie. T: Mildly bitter with grapefruit pith and tart pulp or under-ripe peach. Very low sweetness and floral notes join for a tart aftertaste. M: Light and fairly clean with a bit of a powdery feel. O: Pleasant surprise. Not unappealingly hazy and does not drink like a glass of feathers.
