(375ml 2017 bottle shared @ Nische's tasting, thanks Otso!) Pours clear dark mahogany with a tight tan head. Notes of rich and deeply sweet molasses, some dark toffee, stewed raisins, dates, some rum, almost a fudge-like quality, moderate wood, the sweetness dries up a little in the finish with a light toasty quality, lingering fruit and balanced rum notes. Full-bodied and fairly viscous with nearly no carbonation and a slight touch of alcohol. The sweetest of the bunch from the rum, but rich rather than thin like the brandy. The flavour isn't overly rummy but quite sympathetic with the base. Nice one!

Thnx to gEUS . Pours dark brown, good, lightly tanned head. Smell is intense, boozy ( grainy alcohol , like rum usualy causes ) . Taste is full, sharp, sweet, dark sugar, mild alcohol, very sweet, sticky alcohol in the end.
