06/VI/21 - 33cl bottle from a trade, shared @ BBQ at my sister’s place, BB: IV/2021 (2021-460) Thanks to Bierridder_S for the trade!

Clear deep blond to orange beer, huge frothy creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very oxidized, almonds, very yeasty, spicy, sweet impression, malty. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, malty, bread, ripe to overripe banana, gentle bitterness, somewhat soapy, sugary. Aftertaste: almonds, ripe banana, hoppy touch, sweet and sugary, bit malty, bleh.

30 April 2019. At Dirk's First Home-made Beer Tasting. Cheers to all! Pours hazy yellow with a big, slowly thinning, frothy, white head. Aroma of wort, honey, butter, pear, apricot, banana peel, cabbage and weirdly, white chocolate. Taste is medium fruity sweet, ripe pear & apricot with faint banana, sourish touches, spicy bitter core of clove & pepper, yeasty edge, bready & honeyish maltiness leading into a dryish, faintly grassy hoppy finish that is quite phenolic as well, with the ripe fruit lingering and some warming gin-like alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Weird mix in the aroma and slightly off as well, taste-wise only decent.

Hazy blond colour, white foam. Bit sweet with harsh bitter notes. Notes of spices, very yeasty. Bit unbalanced.

Pours rather unclear blonde, small white ring of foam. Smell is weak, spices ( coriander?) grainy. Taste is sharp, rather bitter. Spices ( again, I think coriander) sweet, yeasty. Tad harsh in its fermentation profile, too phenolic, perhaps a tad to warm in fermentation? Just a very mild error though. Appart from that, a pretty boring, done-before kinda beer.
