Mahrs has been a family brewery producing lagers since 1670! We are very honoured that they wanted to collab with us & that Stephan Michel their CEO/Brewer & Mahrs family decendant came to Pamplona for the brew day. The beer has a deep golden and clear colour. Medium long lasting head with aromas of grass, grain, sweetness, honey and malts. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. A very well balanced and tasty lager with a finish combining sweetness and bitterness perfectly.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is sweetish pale malt, light grass and citrus, noble hop, hint of honey. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Exemplary for the style.

Ejemplar con fecha de consumo preferente recién cumplida. Color anaranjado, ligeramente nebulosa, espuma blanca de media retención. Tanto en nariz como en boca es muy maltosa, con notas de caramelo, grano...primer trago bastante dulce, con matices de pan y especias, final amargo y herbal, muy lupulado, bastante cuerpo. No descarto que el bote que estoy catando haya padecido una mala conservación y no se encuentre en las mejores condiciones, detecto cierta nota rancia tanto en el olfato como en el paladar que dudo mucho que se pueda atribuir al sabor y aroma legitimo y original de esta cerveza. Me quedo pues con la incógnita de saber que tal se siente esta birra en condiciones perfectas.

Keg @ Juova, Helsinki. Poured deep golden in color. Malty bready aroma and flavors. Somewhat sweet but smooth and balanced. Light spicy notes. Gulpable.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, grainy, bready and some mild herbal tones with mild sweet malts. Flavour is mild alcohol, sweet malts, some bready and biscuity tones. Sweet, but not very interesting.

Can 44 cl. Hazy golden with a smallish, white head. Grainy malt aroma. Medium body, sweet, grainy maltiness with a subdued bitterness. Lowish carbonation. Lacking more hop character, this is just a rather bland malt soup. 200423
