Virtually black. Dark chocolate, pineapple and lemon peel aroma that’s interesting, but not exactly enticing. Taste is bittersweet, with a bit of sourness on the backside that feels out of place. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Interesting but awkward.

Blik gedeeld door Keukeman. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een medium beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur met tonen van chocolade. De smaak van vol, gebrand, chocolade en pruimen.

Darkest brown. Aroma is dark chocolate some roast and hazelnut with light fruity hoppy notes. Taste is intense roasty cocoa and stout with sweet base and a fresh sourness above. Intense chocolate finish. Very smooth and quite complex. Would have thought its a stout.

Can. Bready roast, cocoa, licorive, spicy hoppiness. Darkest brown, lacing brown cream. Medium body, dry, chewy. Nice roast characteristics, cocoa and dry licorice, broad citric, berrylike and herbal hops into the finish and retronasal. Nice, assertive yet balanced and moreish.

Can picked up at Zwølf Ingolstadt and consumed at home Saturday 8th January 2022 listening to Funkadelic - Take it to the Stage, now Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6 Music, just finished making Granola still cooking Chicken, Mushroom and Dijon Pies (with Truffle chips). Pours dirty dark brown the head rapidly disappeared. Punchy citrus and roast notes but hoppy, really hoppy, hoppy burps aplenty. This beer needed to sit in the glass for a little while, initially too aggressive but after a while it calmed down and hit the notes, missed a little chocolate roastiness, but great.

Can. Murky brown color with off-white head. Aroma is chocolate indeed, grassy, fruity hops. Taste is chocolate, nice bitterness for a dark chocolate character, grassy, not overhopped. Juicy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Great balance for this style, not bad.
