Bottle as Meldrum House Lager. It pours clear golden yellow with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, doughy white bread, rich tea biscuits, bread & bitter pudding and custard creams. The taste is crisp, dry, quite clean, bitter - sweet, lightly toasty grains, doughy white bread, custard cream biscuits, cereal and hay with a dry finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Perfectly drinkable lagerbier. Fairly malty.
