Cask at the Old Trout, Southend on 10th December 2025. Crystal clear copper with shallow foam and almost no lacing. Rich malty aroma. Intense nutty maltiness in-mouth and finish. Velvet smooth texture and a full body.

On cask. Appearance - deep amber to brown with red chinks. Creamy white head. Nose - plums going into prunes. Brown bread toffee and an edge of chocolate. Taste - more dried fruit and brown bread. Palate - rich and chewy. Sweet and chewy finish. Overall - lovely stuff.

Cask at the Tempest Colby, Lincoln. Deep amber colour with an off white head. Aroma caramel and malty, taste light sweet, full thick body
