Bottle from LCB. Clear amber brown with small beige top. No big aroma - some malts, citrus and fusty hop. Taste is better if somewhat filtered with toffee and caramel, plum, mild citrus, straw. Light to medium bodied, semi-dry, moderate fizz; goes down easily. Ok session bitter.

Cask at the Corstorphine Inn. Pours clear amber to brown Ruth a thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee and caramel, faint soap and dried herbs. Taste is thin, malt sweet, toffee again. A little dishwater tbh. Thin finish.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a dark ruby with a small off-white head and good lacing. Malts are the mainstay of the aroma, along with some hints of autumn fruits. In the mouth it is sweet and malty with stewed apples and winter pears. A touch of singer after a while as well. Finish is quite dry. It’s OK.

1/3 pint, cask at Greene King Beer Cafe. Remaining beige head to a clear mahogany coloured body, upper part lacing. Moderate stewed fruity smell. Dried fruity taste joined by mid-sweet malts. Malt-fruity end. Fair enough. (Bury St Edmunds 12.11.2021).
