Bottle from Sainsburys. Straw coloured with a slight white head. Light aroma of hay, ash, a hint of tangerine and grassy hop. Flavour had slightly corny malts, more fruit and some caramel sweetness, before a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Fine clear golden colour with a small white head. Slightly soapy aroma and texture but plenty of light fruitiness in its mild pale taste. Smooth.

Bottle at home in London. Pours perfectly clear gold, bright, with a fine, foamy white head. Aroma holds dry crackers, straw, pale malts. Light sweet flavor, more pale malts, some dry biscuits, toasty leaves, light grass, straw, mild dry lemon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp and quite clean on the finish with a surprisingly nice bitter bite, dry straw, hay, light grass and leaves, very faint dirt, modest pale malt sweetness, dry biscuits. Very acceptable stuff.

[Cask at the Hinds Head, Bray, Berkshire - thanks to my wife for taking me!] Light amber with a moderate white head and a light, frothy carbonation. A mellow, fruity beer with orange and lemon flavours. Very comforting and happy-feeling, and a pleasant surprise coming from Greene King!

Cask at the ’Quinns Head’ pub inside Twickenham Stoop Rugby ground during half time of the Harlequins vs London Welsh game - 07/09/12. Clear golden with a medium white head that retains well. Floral hops in the aroma, citrus notes and slightly perfumed. Not as much of that usual GK smell! Tastes of hops, apricot, passion fruit, a decent mix of tropical fruits for GK, sweet malts. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation lending to a sweetish dry finish.

Bright golden colour. Aroma is quite fruity, citrusy. Flavour has a soft fruity feel at first then quickly becomes dry and bitter in the finish. Very refreshing.

Head disappeared quickly and after being quite lively when I poured it it soon went flat.A strangely balanced flavour, quite sweet at first taste and then almost sour afterwards. A little bland but drinkable.
