(Bottle) Pours clear amber with big white head. Nice malty bread aroma. Medium body with nice soft carbonation. Pleasant rich flavour. Caramel malt with nice gentle vegetable hoppy bitterness. Odd IPA but very drinkable.

Glass bottle to increase the chance of the product being spoiled. Nose is nutty, carmael, slightly acidic. Taste is lemony, malt, caramel, red current, slight grapefruit bitterness, faintly acidic. Aggressively carbonated. I am sure it's the best Green King beer I've had.

500ml bottle from Stonemanor, The British Store near Brussels. F: medium, tan, average retention. C: amber, clear. A: malty, bit citrus, caramel, orange touch, toast. T: medium malty base, light orange, toast, caramel, bready, decent bitterness, bit grassy, hard to say what´s this, for sure not IPA at all, drinkable.

Bottle from Home Bargains, Byfleet. Aroma is sweet, malty, gluey, a slight sour edge. Clear medium brown. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Sweet, gluey, caramel malty stuff with underlying saccharine. A vague hint of quinine bitterness. Nutty finish. Light bodied. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. It's not great but it is warming.

500ml clear bottle. Pours clear amber, small white head, little retention. Aroma is biscuit malts, light citrus, floral hops. It didn't seem light-struck but then it was on the bottom shelf of the supermarket. Taste is malty, biscuit, grapefruit, citrus zest, nuts, semi-sweet. Moderate body and low to moderate carbonation which is fine. More flavoursome that I was expecting for a Greene King brew, quite enjoyable.

Bottle from , err I forget ! Aroma of malts, with a hint of fruit. Pours a rich reddish orange with virtually no head. Malts and biscuits and corn in the mouth. Hops are there too if you look, plus traces of lemon. Finish is long and bitter. Not bad – better than the standard version anyway.

- Durchaus trinkbar.
