Bottle from Tesco. Poured a crystal clear dark amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is hoppy and a little malty. The flavour is medium bitter and floral with some malty notes on the smooth palate. Not a classic really and the flavours are limited. Needs to be served cool to make it refreshing.

Bottle from the Cromwell Road Sainsbury’s. Pours light ruddy amber with some transient white bubbles. Mild floral aroma. Med body. Flavor is light caramel with some floral/grassy hop. It’s bitter - not sweet - but it’s a light bitter. If the malt was more roasty, I might call it a bitter. Still, it has its tasty aspects.

Equidistance between New York and Fort Lauderdale in Stateroom 6187 of Queen Victoria: 20 Jan 2013. The clear 500ml bottle (BBD Jan 2014) was poured into a tumbler twice and the amber beer produced a full and deep biege head each time it left the bottle. Floral hop nose with a semi-sweetened pink grapefruit taste, the beer finished bitter and dry although there was a malty feel the more the beer warmed in the mouth. Different and tasty with enough alcohol content to make the brew interesting.
