This is an English ale with hoppy, citrus undertones balanced with bitterness and a light sweetness. It has an aroma that is packed with soft fruit notes and a clean, moreish finish. Available in cask, smooth and sparkling.
Available as: Cask-conditioned and brewery-conditioned.

Amber with medium white head which dissipates to nothing. Aroma of caramel, a hint of vanilla, hops. Low to moderate carbonation and body but oddly and pleasantly smooth at the same time. Taste of caramel malts, a little sweet, moderate bitterness, quite moorish A straightforward bitter but at 3.7% this holds together quite well and is pleasant to drink. A little underrated in my opinion.

Bottle via Lidl, SK. About as much as one can expect from a mass market English ale, bottled in clear bottle. Lightstruck, though not nearly as much as I was expecting. Also fair amount of oxidation. Besides all this, there is not much of anything. Thin body, moderate carbonation. Subtle notes of toasted maltiness, hint of roast. Basically no hops character to speak of. Blunt moderate bitterness. Drinkable, but nothing more.

50cl bottle. Pours crisp transparent, reddish, with limited white foam. Aroma is kind of anonymous, a little malty and earthy. Body is thin with average carbonation. Taste is mildly bitter, pretty bland, artificial. Final is on the short/light side.

Cask at JDW Holloway. Amber coloured with white lager like head. Aroma is yeasty and wheaty. Taste quite grainy, bit of malt and a bit of socks. Slight bitter finish. Unspectacular.

Cask @ JDW Montgomery's Tower. Pours clear gold, aroma is pale malt, woody. Taste is exceptionally light, exceptionally bland with vague cask beer flavours that struggle to define themselves. Hard to form an opinion of something so nondescript.
