Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Fruity hop with citrus, pineapple, tropical notes, hint of oniony hop. Mild bitter, bit dry. Medium body. Fruity, light berry, fine.

Keg pint in the Bacchus (Birmingham), 30th June 2026. First beer of a crawl. Hazy light coloured body, white crust on top. Fruity with a citrus lead. The beer was quite apt really because we got into New Street station 45 minutes late because of signal problems!

Cardiff Mini-break Beer#51. Last beer on a few hours stopover in Birmingham on the way home. Mildly sticky-sweet hazy golden coloured ale, full of tropical aroma and taste, within a full-body.

Keg draught at Tønne, Leicester. Lovely light gold, a greenish hue maybe. Hazy with a ring of white head. Plenty of apricot in the aroma, vanilla malt, light berry. The taste doesn't disappoint. Balanced and sweet with biscuity notes and sweaty stone fruit. Light tropical fruit in the finish. Watery body but the intense carbonation brings it home. Great stuff.

Can from Connolly's, online. Pours a semi-hazy gold with small white head, modest retention. Nice hoppy aroma of apricot, pineapple, shrubbery, herbs. Taste has a decent fruity hoppiness of apricot, orange, resin, herbal bitterness, a slight toasty malt. Slick body, fine carbonation. Good.
