Deep copper with a creamy tan head. Caramel malts, berries, and a nice snappy bitterness. Medium dry finish. Quite a lovely pint.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear mahogany with small off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, berries, vanilla. Taste is caramel malts and spice, some fruitiness in the middle, quite dry, toasty, citrus and grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Very flavoursome bitter.

500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Brownish red and clear with a quickly dissipating beige head. Bright bread malts, hints of berries and caramel. With so many sweet beers, it's nice to have one that is deliciously bitter, settling in the back of the throat with a light herbal flavour. Light body with carbonation slightly on the heavy side.
