Despite the dark colour, this beer is delightfully refreshing. Dark chocolate and coffee notes are provided by the roasted malts and the Saison yeast gives it some light fruit and spice characteristics.

473ml can. Pours an unclear dark brown with red hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, Belgian yeast, plum, spice, coffee and floral hops. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, cherry, plum, dark chocolate, licorice, Belgian yeast, spice and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter, day-old coffee finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Tasty and enjoyable. Nice complexity.
