Taster at Nurme Brewery, Riga. Seems clear, red to black colored. AROMA- roasted, pralines with filling, a bit earthy. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, bitter finish, the same as aroma, touch of alcohol. Medium bodied.

Draught @ Patrick´s. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and raisins. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, caramel and raisins finsh. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Žil Verne Bratislava, shared with Marko, Hrabren & Gurthnar. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, coffee and light chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, light berries and touch of alcohol with bitterish roasty finish.

Tap at Žil Verne. Blackish body, off-white to tan head. Sweet blueberry notes in the aroma, some cocoa, lactose maybe as well? The taste is lean, with some milk chocolate, citric and herbal hoppy touches, lightly tart, a bit more alcoholic than 7% should be, but a decent beer overall.

Roasty and chocolate flavour, too sweet. Sweet cocoa drink. Smooth, light body, minimal bitterness, some alcohol warmth. Light finish, tartness.

Tap at Zil verne. Full body, med-high carbonation, small bubbles. High roasty bitterness, lots of chocolate, coffee. Sufficiently wide and deep malt character. Med-light sweetness, dried fruits. Very good, tasty, classic.

Bottle. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is big chocolate, roast, earthy, quite aromatic. Taste is chocolate, roast, medium bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid stuff!
