Translation: Porter -Porter- Malduguns is the king of the dark end. The dark and complete line that dominates the malt is dominated by light roasting and soft coffee notes. Northdown hop is added to balance.

BOTTLE 50 CL from Beerfox, Riga. Almost black with clear ruby highlights, creamy beige head. Milky vanilla chocolate in the nose. Taste of rich smooth chocolate, hints of dark treacle, solid roasty and grassy bitterness. Full-bodied yet easy-drinking. Very good.

500ml bottle, thanks to Stefan and Elisabeth for sharing. Almost black coloured body. Creamy, tan-coloured head. Fragile lacing. Earthy malts on the nose hints of grass and herbs. Malt driven flavours of caramel, anise, and burnt sugar. Semi-sweet malty ending. Soft and ashy in the mouth. Medium bodied. Alright (beer no.300 shared during five years together with Stefan & Elisabeth, Tromsø 09.01.2014).
