500ml bottle. Pours a murky orange-brown with a medium, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of Belgian yeast, cherry, raisin, date, plum, molasses, red wine and oak. Sweet flavour of dark malt, plum, raisin, brown sugar, tart cherry, fig, date, Belgian yeast and oak in a dry, warming red wine finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Very nice, lots of complexity. Alcohol is a little strong, but with age this would mellow and could be truly great.
