Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Near black, small head. Aroma of licorice and coffee. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, coffee and licoorice. Mid bitter finish.

Draft at Helst, Amsterdam. Black with a thin tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roast and cocoa powder. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Helst, Amsterdam. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, charcoal, dry coffee, light liquorice. The flavour is moderate to light liquorice bitter with a smooth, roasty, light sweet caramel, dry coffee palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Smell of tar, vanilla, some coffee. Very dark brown colour, very high brown head. Aroma of tar, vanilla, coffee, chocolate. Bitter. Viscous yet semi-dry palate. Flat carbon.

Draught@HBF2016. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is rather hoppy along with some roasted notes as well as some black currants and mild smoked wood. Flavour is roasted, some liquorice, sweet malts, leather and mild toffeeish notes.

Draft @ Brewdog, Helsinki. Pours black with tan head. Roast and chocolate aroma. Taste is caramel, roast with chocolate digestives on the finish.

(Draught at Black Door, Helsinki, 14 Dec 2015) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of liquorice, coffee, chocolate and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness.Tasty and well made porter. Nice one.
