Rich, Dark & Malty.
It’s an original garrison brew & our darkest offering year-round. From rowdy Barrack Street to the patio’s of today, this style was made for East Coast good times

Once of the world's best (during the Shirley Warne era) this beer has not lived up either earlier this year or in August when I was in Halifax. It is nutty, smoothly malty, but has lost the rich earthiness and subtle smoke hint that really set it apart. It's more of a run-of-the-mill brown now. In fact, I find all of all of Garrison's beers have had their formerly well-defined flavours obfuscated now.
