Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear golden with a small off-white head. The nose has a little caramel, nuts and British hops. Light body, sweet malts and fruit, yeast and caramel with British hops. No real bitterness though. 050111

500ml bottle at 4.3%. Pours golden with a thin, non lasting white. Aroma just isn’t there, some grass maybe? Sweetish honey malt throughout. Nowt special.

(bottle, 4.3% abv) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet cara-malty and slightly papery aroma with notes of citric and slightly woody hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with an almost flat carbonation, hence a slightly sticky mf. Malty and slightly fruity hoppy taste with a whiff of caramel; slim fruity and shy woody finish. Not particularly demanding, but also not completely bad. 04.XII.10

@ Red Lion, Avebury, Wiltshire. Pale amber. Quite dull looking. Fresh, fruity refreshing character. Berryish fruit nose. Very refreshing.

Cask-conditioned at the Staple Hill Oak (JDW), Bristol 16/7/10. Orange in colour with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, caramel aroma with some decent citrus hops. Flavour was also sweet, and became increasingly one dimensional to the point of being cloying. Ultimately disappointing.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Amber with a dese cream head; citrus orange aroma; creamy, grainy body with light orange citrus flavours; and a crisp finish.

Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Orange gold, thick cream head. Slight diacetyl aroma with not much else. Good condition in mouth, then some fruit in mouth, touch of fresh fruit salad. Not much hop on finish. So, diacetyl and no real hop, which means it’s unlikely that I am going to enjoy this. Good condition helped.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Orange with a dense white head; aroma of dusty hops and stewed malt; soft and sweet at first with perhaps a touch of honey, then developing a stale bitterness. Not very pleasant.

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden orange with a small creamy off-white head. Bitterhops and mild acidic aroma. Flavour starts light fruity, mild acidic and solid biter. Light nutty to earthy malty base flavour. Dry and slight bubblegum fruity finish. Ends bitter.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A slightly hazy amber beer with a dense cream colored head. The aroma is sweet malty with light flowery notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wheat and perfume, leading to a dry wheaty and slightly bitter finish.
