Tuborg's first brewmaster was made in memory of Frederik, produced with hops from Yakima valley in Washington state of USA.
It is cloudy orange in color, abundant and densely foamy. It has aromas associated with pine needles, citrus fruits and tropical fruit. Fresh in the mouth, tender and bitter. High alcohol gave a slight sharpness. It should be sipped at 6-8 degrees, preferred with spicy snacks and meals.

Golden colour and small white head and lace. Tropical fruits, hints of pine in the nose. Light-bodied. Sweetish tropical fruits and pine in the flavour. Decent with macro ipa vibe. Istanbul.

Bottle drunk in our hotel room after Turkish dinner. Light yellow amber with mild haze and decent head, sharp citrus nose. Flavor is pretty much C hops with mild maltiness behind it. A bit one dimensional, honestly, but lemon-ly refreshing after a big meal of beef stew on roasted eggplant with cream.

Bottle shared by Cuso. Rather thin body, medium carbonation. Medium bitterness, med-light sourness with a bit of astringency. Low sweetness. Grain over-extracted to hell, that is the common denominator in all of these Frederik beers. The hops try vainly to cooperate with this impression. Also there is moderate oxidation. All in all a poor beer.

Bottle as gift from a friend, many thanks. Orange golden color with white head. Aroma of citrus hops, grassy notes, herbal notes, wet mop. Taste is hop burn, wet mop, oxidation, astringent, sour notes.
