On tap at Peders. Pours black with a white head. Brown sugar, molasses on the nose. Flavour has brown sugar and molasses; thin and watery. Poor imperial stout.

On tap at Skaal, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma has some cola, toasted malt, and a bit of soy sauce. Flavour doesn’t have a pleasant malt character—lots of soy sauce and cola, with not much roast. Not egregious but not a nice malt character.

A bit roasty, some berries and sweetness. Taste is along the same lines, a lot of molasses. Meh.

Bottle @ SKAAL Sønderborg, shared by Henrik. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and touches of coffee and dried fruit. Roasty and bitter flavour of coffee and hops, with sweetish touches of malt and notesnof dried fruit. Bitter, roasty and dryish aftertaste with malty touches. Unpretentious but very nice. Easy to drink, which is rather uncommon for beers of this style.

Mørk brun med tynt beige skum. Lukter kaffe, sjokolade og røstet malt. Myk i munnfølelse. røstet malt, sjokolade og kaffe også i smak.

0.33 l bottle shared with Ogi and Marko, thanks. Cloudy brown, small head. Moderately fruity, dried fruit, dates, raisins, caramel, molasses, alcohol hidden, soft signs of oxidation, cardboard, hints of cocoa, very lightly solvent. Medium to full body, oily texture, sweet molasses and dried fruit, dried figs. Not too sweet. No bitterness, some warmth, moderate dry finish. Old school.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren, thanks! Black coloured, small brownish head, chocolate, alcohol and light wood in the nose. LOight roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, mild oxidation and notes of wood with some alcohol in the finish.

Bottled, huge thanks HP I reckon! B.F. is 28.06.2024, so unlikely to be fresh. Very dark blackish brown body, not much head, what little there is is beige. Interesting aroma, light oxidation is present, but there's some chocolate and vague acetaldehyde most likely. Lean, dry taste, dried figs all over the place over some chocolate, traces of oxidation, but actually slightly helping the overall impression. Really appreciate the smooth, lean, dry taste and the very well hidden alcohol.

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.
