Clear amber with a decent beige head. Dark grains and toffee. Nice soft dark bready notes and a light sweetness balanced by a nice bitterness. Touch of spice as well. Like a nice dark rye bread.

On tap at Container, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toffee, caramel, and bready malt. Flavour is very malty, with lots of caramel, bready malt, and a bit of dark fruits. Nice malt profile without actually being all that sweet. Bready, caramely finish with restrained residual sweetness. Pretty solid.

Weak darker clear brown body and no foam. Aroma is soft caramel and bitter molasses. Taste is okay molasses, soft biscuit, ends full with good carbonation. An adequate doppel but rather boring.

Beautiful red amber colour with red lights; generous beige head, compact. The arom ais too light, just some caramel. Moderately sweet, with quite good body strength, caramel flavour, there is enough depth, it's balanced, and clean (7.5).
Pretty good.
