Tap @ MBCC 2017. Aromas of raspberry jam, tart raspberries, light funk, cheesy dryness. Taste is jammy, vinegary, light lactic, pitty tartness and a drying funky finish.

750 ml bottle. Thanks to Adamchandler. Aroma is tart very in mild vinegar with a hint of acid. Flavor isn’t as sour as the aroma leads me to believe. Some berry presence is forward. No vinegar at all which is nice.

75CL Split 3 ways. This was brewed at least 3 years ago. Has the O’SO logo on it. Dark reddish purple. Small head. Smells like raspberry and chalk. Flavor. Sour. Tart. Chalky, chlorine, oak, tannins, pickle juice. No vinegar, just tartness rom the extended aging I’ve done to it with sour fruit.

Bottle, shared at Northern Monk. Fully hazy, deep rose pink. Halo of pale pink head. Nose has raspberry purée. Lemon juice. Raspberry ice cream. Taste is tart, and softly acidic. Light to medium body. Full on foamy carbonation. More acidity. Tart and lightly fruity finish. Ok. A bit harsh.

Thnx to selle. Pours unclear peachy red, rather dark. No real head. Smell is intense, fruit-punching raspberry, tart, oak, taste is intensely tart, rather dry, raspberry, oak, funky, very intense. Ends very dry, oaky, has a certain sweetness to it. Bit too sour for my own liking, making it a tad out of balance, compared to it's Belgian standards. Yet, comparing to the other offerings, this is still one of the best lambic-like offerings from out of the real region.

(On tap @ MBCC 2017 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours a pretty murky orange-red with a pinkish head and a little lace. Notes of fleshy raspberry, earthy oak, cellar, lactic/light acetic acid, soft citrus, twigs, rather light barnyard funk, metallic twang, a bit of sweet jamminess largely traded off with acidity. Medium bodied, touch oily, softly carbonated. Quite good overall but in comparison to the various Bokkereyder framboos variants on offer at the festival it seemed a bit less smooth and more unbalanced.

750ml bottle. Pleasant real red raspberry tones. Has aged some, mellowed out. Smooth and surprisingly mellow. Solid.
