Perhaps you first encountered this beer amidst the streets of the Habsburg capital, where it was created in the early twentieth century. Perhaps you have already savoured its perfect balance of malt and hops. And perhaps you have already been captivated by its copper colour, and seduced by fruity notes that intertwine with hints of nuts and caramel. Now, discover a smoothness that is natural, yet never excessive.

Vrlo dobar lager jantarne boje sa solidnom bijelom pjenom. Puna okusom i mirisom.

Pours a clear dark amber color, topped with an average-sized of-white head. Mild malty aroma, caramel, and slightly grassy later on. Sweet malty at the start, caramel present, mild bitterness in the finish, slight grassy feel in teh aftertaste. Not bad, drinkable, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear deep amber color with thin frothy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, bread and grassy hops. Taste starts moderate sweet malty, follows sour bready and grassy with dry mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Decent vienna, but not outstanding...

Pour is a clear amber with a sweetish caramel malt aroma. Flavor is a dark bready, light caramel malt. Finish is watery but some malt lingers. Not an over exciting beer but also nothing really bad about it.

Enjoyed in a bottle at Pub Italia. Pours a hazy deep amber colour with a creamy warm cap, average retention and no lace. Big bread nose at first pour, then fruity malts appear. Fruity malts with caramel and a short finish. Wet mouthfeel but gets tarty, lingering. Surprisingly good looking for an Italian Vienna and well-brewed overall.

On tap. Bright red to bourdeaux color, white head, neutral nose. Simple aroma with sweetish malts and fome vague fuity notes (grapes, plum). Taste a bit flat with a decent bitterness. Watery, thin bodied, dry.

Old rating, 0,33l bottle @ home:
