That's a damn good sweet hefe. And a bomber size too.

I had a 50 cl pour at a pleasant cafe patio in Nuremberg with a new friend met on the trip through the Czech Republic and Germany. A cloudy, lighter orange body with little head presenting itself, just a thin ring of white foam. The taste is not unusual for the style. Orange rind, grain and a bit of coriander. Decent beer to have at a nice time.

Tap at Berberè, Rimini, Italy. Pours partially hazy, golden, with fine white foam. Aroma is fruity, slightly of banana. Body is slightly thin, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium sweet. Nice bready feeling in the final, almost feeling the crumbles.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Typical Hefe aromas of bananas, some clove and peppery spice. Taste is the same again but fairly mild flavours and a bit watery. Thinnish body with a fair amount of carbonation. Refreshing enough summery beer but below average for the style.

hazy pale yellow colour, one inch of creamy, yellowish-ecruish white head, which lasts for quite a few minutes; aroma of banana, wet wheaty-bread crusty, clove, some lemony and peppery notes; taste of intensive banana, clove, biscuity-caramel, spicy and some orange notes; surprisingly good weizen (and it is also surprising that I have not tasted it earlier - I just always thought that I had already tasted it several years ago)
