Pours a nice hazy light golden yellow from a can. Aroma is citrus and pine, a little like lemon pine-sol. Similar flavor. Good beer.

Can from Trillium Boston and drunk in my apartment. Cloudy gold orange colour lasting white head. Typical Trillium tropical fruit aroma. However different in the body. Fuller. Good tropical fruit. Pineapple. Mango. Not much bitterness. Some wheat cereal character. Good

19/XI/17 - 1Pt. can @ home - BB: n/a, canned: X/10/17 (2017-1884) Thanks to T. and Akke for sharing the can!
Note: what a beer! And to think I was a bit reluctant about ordering this one, when I saw it for sale at the website. In all honesty, this is just a (white) ipa though, not really a wheat ale...
Pretty cloudy blond to light beige beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fantastic smell, lots of ripe tropical fruits, passion fruits, mango, some pineapple. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: wow, very bitter, bit acidic, lots of dank hops. Aftertaste: bitter, grassy, some tropical fruits, bit soapy, nice stuff! Very hoppy, resinous, pineapple, lots of grapefruit, bitter finish.

Thnx to Geoff. currently rated the best wheat ale in the world, highest rated i had is like 15. So pretty curious about it. Rock my world, trillium ! Drank from the can. Smell is intensely hopped ( quite 'green', floral, tad fruity ) Taste is sharp, fresh bitter, crunchy maltyness ( not really very wheat-intense to me ) mostly hoppy, of course, with it being fruity and floral at the same time. Ends rather fast ( not much hops survive to the aftertaste ) mildly bitter ending. Pretty good, but like I said, I might have expected more wheat in this, and less hops, for it to be truly ' the best wheat ale' . This is a damn fine IPA, with wheat, to me.

Pours a hazy, light banana yellow, with minimal head. Aroma seems a bit muted, with some grassiness, some pine/spruce hops. Flavor is quite bitter, and, surprisingly, not all that different from some of their IPAs and pale ales. There’s a lot of citrus, some tropical fruit, some hop bitterness. Kind of weird, chemically finish and aftertaste to this one. Mouthfeel a bit more watery than other Trillium offerings.

16 oz. can from the Canton location. (9 days old) Typical appearance for a Trillium. The aroma is citrus in the form of grapefruit. Large amounts with some mild pith. The flavor shows the large grapefruit with a note of pine hiding in the background. The bitterness is all grapefruit pith. This displays the great soft/ airy mouthfeel and mild carbonation.
Personal note: Beer rating number 1000 from the state of Massachusetts. Massachusetts is my 1st state to 1000 reviews. I enjoyed this top tier wheat ale for that milestone. Refreshing!
