On tap at hollywood gardens. Looks like any other pale ale. Quite strong smell of perfumy IPA. Barely any co2, nearly flat. Big bitter thang. Lasting impressions with the hop stuff fer sure. Interesting morph of flavors. First taste immediately lulls you in to thinking it will be a bit frutiy then it goes ape shit on you. The finish ends up being big bad and terribly on style. The feel is not as thick as most really bitter IPA I’ve had.

12oz bottle pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has soap, lemon, mild perfume, a little kumquat. Flavor is sweet, resinous, piney, lemon, mild honey. Dry, resinous finish.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy amber orange color with a small creamy white head. Nice clinging lace. Fragrant citrus hop aroma with sulphury notes. Dry bitter hops upfront. Slight fruity maltiness in mid-taste. Dry bitter peppery hops in finish. Decent.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a hazy orange-caramel color with a medium sized creamy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was piney, bitter and resinous with a bit of caramel. The flavor was thin and watery with notes of pine, resin, windex and a sour note. Long finish. Thin and watery body. Meh.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with a thin head and aromas of nothing. Really not a lot there other than a little honey and a very faint floral presence with a slight orange smell. Flavor is also poor. A resin finish after a bit of orange and honey is about it. Not sure if this bottle is a problem bottle, so I would like to take another swing at this beer down the road, but I’m not impressed.
