Can at Landlov, Bod. Pours a black colour with no head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate truffles, jalapenos, licorice and cocoa powder. Flavour of coffee, chocolate truffles, ash and vanilla. Heavy chili burn in the end. Has a silky mouth feel, full-boded and a soft bitterness. Lots of chocolate. Rich but is well balanced despite the chili burn.

Can 330ml @ gunnfryd
Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and pastry. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, caramel, pastry and faint hint of chili finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. An unclear dark brown beer with no head. The aroma has coffee and roasted malts, mocha and marshmallow, with a touch of alcohol. It's full-bodied and warming on the palate, sweet and lightly carbonated, with some chili warmth. The flavor too has mostly dark malty flavors, with mocha, dark chocolate, alcohol, marshmallow, chili, caramel sauce and a spiced, peppery chili touch. Rather sweet. Lasting finish. A bit sweet and warming this one, but nice anyway. 220417

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Jet black in the glass, dissipating tan-coloured head, poor lacing. Dark grainy malts on the nose, scent of chocolate, roasted. Decent taste of black chocolate malts, hints of biscuit, lactose pastry backbone. Not overdone, but quite noticeable, spiced ending with a decent black chocolate bite. Well bodied. Likable slow sipper on a Friday afternoon. (Tromsø 18.02.2022).
