Small bottle. Sweet and syrupy with notes of syrupy red fruits, light spicy. Full and sweet finish, nice mead.

100ml sample as a gift from danlo. Thanks, Ed. Deep golden brown and clear. No head. Honey and naked alcohol on the simple but effective aroma. Sweet taste, boozy, more a hint of the grape juice at the finish. There's not a lot to this drink but that doesn't stop it from being completely gorgeous. Recommended.

21/8/2020. Mini bottle courtesy of the SHIG. Pours clear dark amber with no head. Aroma of honey, fruit, flowers and chocolate. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, minimal carbonation. Had a nice fruit cake finish. My favourite of the five meads we had today from Lindisfarne.
