330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, faint brown colour with average, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Nutty, toasty, slightly chocolately, dark malty and slightly leafy, minimally earthy, hoppy aroma, hints of praline, nougat, milk chocolate, a touch of hazelnut. Taste is mildly bitter, minimally leafy, earthy hoppy, sweet-ish, slightly nutty, toasty and chocolately, dark malty basis, hints of nougat, praline, milk chocolate, some hazelnut.
Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well crafted, very nice malt flavours, quite meaty for its low abv - good.

Pours hazy amber with a beige head. Malty aroma. Taste is toasted malt, caramel, brown bread. Excellent.

Léger cuivre/pâle, col crémeux et onctueux soyeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme présente un excellent bouquet grillé/toasté malté avec une petite touche chocolatée - directe et efficace, léger parfum de houblons nobles DE.
Palais est plaisant sur le caractère malté, toasté, assez sec, pointe de chocolat, pain toasté, fine amertume terreuse avec qcq éléments rappelant le pin et retrait herbacé.
In fine, très bon Dunkel et grand plus pour Kernel de brasser ce style au lieu de nous servir, comme bcp trop d'autres le font, des énièmes revisites de hazies.

Аромат сразу сначала идет с хмелевой составляющей, что странно, немного хмелевой нотки с карамелью и специями. Цвет полу темный, пенки почти нету. Вкус снова присуще этой пивоварни с хмелевой горечью которая противоречит некоторым стилям, ну или слишком сильная. При глотке слишком сильгая горчинка, снова. Да есть карамелька и специи но на отдаление. В целом снова неуд. Для меня это крест данно пивоварни.

Bottle from Against The Grain. Appearance - deep brown, with red chinks. Foamy, beige head. Nose - bread on toffee. Taste - bread, malt loaf, going into caramel. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy middle, lightly roasty finish. Overall - good example of the style.

330ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Mid-brown, a little bit hazy with a beige head. Light chocolate malt, light hazelnut, a bit vinous. Bittersweet taste, dusty cocoa, chocolate bitters on the finish. Light body with carbonation on the heavy side. It’s okay.
