Kosk is a pale, highly attenuated and moderate strength saison.

Although most of the sugars have fermented out, saison yeast contributes a pleasant fruity sweetness to the beer. Aroma of pears and apples, slightly spicy and cidery.

Pairs well with fish, fruity salads and desserts. A great thirst quencher.

Hops: Magnum, Saaz, Mosaic

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 002 - BB 20.11.16, at Drink Bar,  20160710) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, fruitiness and mildly spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, mildly spiciness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, spicy and bitter. A thin and watery saison.

Pours whitish yellow. Bit of foam that does not stay around long. Aroma has some sour acidity, belgo-yeast spiciness. Taste feels quite clean for the style, yeasty character dominates, giving lots of spices to the flavour. I like the light body that makes this beer very refreshing and drinkable. Not crazy in any way but quite decently executed session-saison.

Bottle (from Koht), batch 002, BB 20.11.2016. Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays for some moments. Aroma is very sweet, fruits, apples, some peach. Flavor is sweet, sour and slightly bitter, fruity, spicy, yeasty, with some apricots and slight alcohol in the finish. Body feels bit watery. Overall: drinkable, but a bit too yeasty and like previous raters have already said - lacks proper character.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours almost clear pale golden to yellow with a very modest, white head. Fruity and somewhat yeasty aroma with hints of wheat . Moderate sweet with mild, but kind of messy flavours and some acidity. Wouldn’t guess saison if tasted blind, but...
