This is slightly dark for a pale lager, and head leaves lots of lacework on the glass. Aroma is weak, but taste is lively and snappy, but not lingering. Taste almost reminds me of a ginger ale....

Bottle. Pours a golden straw color with a short white head. Aroma of sweet grains and corn. Flavor follows the aroma with some bitterness and had notes of grass.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average frothy white head. Strawy and grainy aroma. Taste is initially metallic, then slightly sweet caramel malty notes raise up. Finish is almost inexistent.

33cl bottle from Systembolaget (5,2% ABV). Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt with hints of cooked vegetables. Pretty much a standard industrial lager that could be from any country. Not much taste of "Lappland" in my bottle. Sweet and grainy without much bitterness. Fairly drinkable, but would work better the heat than in the cold Nordic summers. A hhint of dryness in the finish, but a very boring beer. I think the last time a had a pale lager like this was in Vietnam, and it fits that kind of climate much better. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Lapin Kulta Export on 16 Aug 2013 at 23:06 - Score: 4
