Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen (04/09/2021) - hazy golden yellow with a white head. Fruity notes of lemon and grapefruit with some melon and pineapple hints but pretty subdued overall, sweet malty support and a medium body, hoppy light bitter close. Miles away from some of Beavertowns classic DIPA’s back in the day.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, peaches, hops, spices, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, pine needles, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can from Cork and Cask. Pours chunky, milky yellow with a thick white head. Aromas of light lemon and honey. Taste has a hint of peach, melon. Sweet finish. Not their finest work.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a loaf of chunks floating beneath a thick white head. No visible carbonation. Aroma of honey, Lockets and honeydew melon. Flavour of lemon jelly and straw. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and slightly hoppy. A little disappointing. What’s with the chucks…? Oh Beavertown of five years ago, I miss you so.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Beavertown online. Pours hazed orange-gold with a creamy white head. Light to medium sweet flavour, notes of ripening citrus fruits, some pale grains, peach. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Minimal warmth in the finish, more peach and tangerine, grainy pale malts. Drinkable if a bit basic.
