330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 14%, IBU 30. Black colour, moderate beige head. Strong aroma of alcohol, oak, molasses, raisins. Warming mouthfeel. Sweet and rich flavour, with the same elements as the aroma. Too much alcohol, but still a great beer.

Bottle. Pitch black body under a small beige head. Strong aroma of dark, smooth roasted malt, wood, dry fruit, grapes and vinous alcohol. Taste is medium sweet, smooth roasted dark malt, some chocolate, dry fruit, wood, hint of vanilla, berries and lots of warming alcohol. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. Very nice, more vinous than Jetsam but still less complex than Scyscraper, still a wonderful and honest brew.

YG 020721. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is wood, wine, peaches. Flavor is roasted malt, alcohol, fruit, wood, wine, dried fruits, peaches, pear, spices, chocolate, coffee. Complex very nice beer.

Bottle. An unclear dark brown beer with a a small, bubbly beige head. The aroma is quite complex, with a delicious woody oak touch and vinous scent. Roasted malt notes, dark dried fruits, raisin mostly, alcohol notes, caramel hints, some spiced, herbal notes and a hint of chocolate. It's full-bodied, warming and nicely carbonated, with a touch of tannin bitterness. Roasted malts, vinous and woody notes, dark dried fruits, roasted malts, dark chocolate and coffee, and a touch of spices in the flavor. Quite complex, very tasteful and delicious. Sure hope I'll find more bottles of this one. 210702
