Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a beige head. Coffee cake, dark chocolate, liquorice, dark fruit aromas. Taste is chocolate wafer, cappuccino, profiteroles, caramel, Highland toffee. Dry, sweet mouthfeel. Rich velvety feel. The aftertaste is very nice indeed. Top marks.

Bradford Beer Festival 2019. Black with an off-white creamy head. Its strength is very evident with a heavy sugary sweet coconut taste. This subdues its dark malts.

11/3/2019. Tap at Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits, toffee, wood, hint of spice, bourbon, coffee and vanilla. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, very soft to flat carbonation. Superb.
