Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: deep brown very close to black in color with a quickly dissipating head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: toasted marshmallows, black coffee, vanilla sweetness, sweet oats and sweet smoke, sly chocolate
Flavor: mixes up the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to smoky and subtly roasty character; finishes the same way
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; very good smoothness along the tongue
Overall: nice sweet smoked porter worthy of returning to.

Bottle shared at Wundi. Visszafogottan desszert-jellegu imp porter, szerencsere a marshmallow karakter nem az a banto-mű jellegu dolog, hanem inkabb a vanilliaba belelatom-ha-akarom dolog, amit egyaltalan nem banok.

330ml bottle consumed at The Jenny Lind, Hastings, East Sussex. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Rich, sweet, marshmallow, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, tonka action. Very enjoyable.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some vanilla and light smoked notes. Taste is also a mix of black chocolate notes with some vanilla and light smoked notes with some light residual sugar notes. Body is above average with oily texture and good carbonation with some alcohol notes discernible. Not bad but the mix of flavors is not as balanced as I would like.

16/9/2023. Bottle at the Vojens GP beer share. From Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours very dark brown almost black with a small short lasting beige head. Aroma is ashy, marshmallow, dark chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, slight smoked edge. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, quite creamy, soft carbonation. Good.
