bottle from meibier.de. Deep brown colour, tall beige head. Malty, some coffee and roasetd malts, shy sweet malty touch and shy earthy hoppy finish. Well balanced.

Bottle. Clear chestnut, offwhite cream. Mellow low roast bready notes, a hint cookie, dry chocolate notes, fitting bitterness, quick finish. Quite drinkable but maybe not the most interesting dunkel.

Bottle from Hier gibts bier and drunk at home. Dark brown colour lasting beige head. dark lager. some malt but not really malty. some brown malt. some dryness on the finish. it's kinda ok. spicy hop finish. balanced well. a brown ale. good .won me over in the end .

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 8A). Bottle 50 cl - Batch unknown (BBF 14/10/19). AROMA: mild metallic note with low bread crust. APPEARANCE: dark amber color and clear. medium-low beige head with medium retention. TASTE: medium-low to low malty flavor (bread crust) starting to show some oxidation. medium-low bitterness with a medium-dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a bit sub-par munich dunkles-like beer.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, caramel and roast in the shy aroma. Malty sweetish, roasty caramelly flavor. Well balanced, well made dunkel.

Bottled. Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Toasty aroma. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Toast, notes of dates. Gently bitter finish. Mild, relatively dry and harmonious.

Tap @ Brauerei Reichold, Aufsess. Pours amber copper with a White head. Nutty and toffeish nose and as it warms it gets sweeter and more Buttery. Caramel and Dark fruit beneath.

On tap at Reichold. Copper with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of toffee with strong diacetyl. Sweet malty flavour with diacetyl and a touch of herbal hops.
